I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding at the Sadie Jane, a stunning venue nestled within the Pinewood Country Club. As a New Orleans wedding photographer, I arrived to capture all the special moments, starting with detail shots of the bride getting ready. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as we prepared for the day ahead.
One of the most touching moments was the first look with her son and father, which truly showcased the deep bonds of family. Meanwhile, my second photographer documented the groom's preparations, capturing candid moments that illustrated the joy and anticipation of the day. The couple exchanged heartfelt letters, adding an emotional touch that resonated throughout the day.
Once everyone was ready, we headed out onto the golf course for the main first look. The natural beauty surrounding us provided a perfect backdrop for their portraits, and we took advantage of the stunning light. As guests began to arrive, we transitioned into the ceremony, held against the picturesque golf course with a breathtaking sunset. It was a beautiful and emotional ceremony, filled with love and laughter.
The reception was a lively celebration, beginning with a heartfelt dance between the groom and the bride’s son, followed by the couple's first dance and dances with their parents. One of the highlights was the groom's Star Wars-themed cake, which was a huge hit among the guests!
