This wedding was at the New Orleans Pharmacy museum. If you get a chance to check this place while visiting the quarter do it. It is a pretty dope museum about dope. (I had too, I know I am an idiot. sorry LOL) They have about two floors worth of old pharmacy memorabilia and history. It is worth a solid 20 - 45 minutes if your looking for something to do in the French Quarter. As far as weddings go their courtyard is beautiful. Like over the top beautiful. One of the things not many people realize when they visit the French quarter is that behind most of the buildings there are amazing courtyards, and The Pharmacy museum does not disappoint on this.
This day started right next door to the pharmacy museum at a little hotel called Hotel St. Helen. The bride and groom did not want pre-ceremony photos, nor a first look so we immediately hopped into getting the portraits. We did the group shots in the back of the hotel by the pool which was another lovely French Quarter courtyard.
After the group portraits we hopped into the ceremony. The aesthetics of the courtyard, florals, Racheal’s dress, and the readings all combined into a beautiful ceremony. After the ceremony all the guest went inside while the staff transformed the courtyard into a reception area. The reception was super chill.
All around it was a great night.
