This couple had their own spaces at The Royal Sonesta to get ready. The bride's room was the home base for the bachelorette party just days before the wedding. You could feel the good times still hanging around. I was, catching every little detail I could, the custom shoes, the dress hanging, the groom's best man fixing his tie.
They did a first look on the balcony in the courtyard. I love first looks, you can get really natural reaction out of them which in my opinion are a little better portraits.
The ceremony happened outdoors in the hotel's courtyard. I was like a ninja with my camera, catching those emotional tears and proud grins. These types of moments in wedding are what I love.
After ward they had a second line with the Young Pin Stripe Brass band. They took the party through the streets of the French Quarter. Giving the venue time to flip and turn the courtyard into a reception set up.
Back at The Royal Sonesta, things moved part inside for the reception. With lights twinkling, music bumping, temporary tattoos, it was a full-on party where everyone was getting down. It was a great party and everything went smoothly thank to part of wedding planner Terry Cambise who helped the couple put things together.
